Procedures
Sellers
A seller may be anyone who wishes to list a single plant, a collection,
or even an entire nursery.
Buyers
A buyer may be anyone who is a collector or grower and who has the desire to

All plants must be potted or boxed. Any plants in the ground must be
potted or boxed and re-established prior to listing. Date of transplant, if
within the last twelve months, must be disclosed.
Delivery
It shall be the duty of the seller to deliver the plants to a prescribed
location by appointment, and it shall be the duty of the buyer to pick up the
plants at the prescribed location by appointment. If this is impossible,
shipping or delivery services may be arranged at the buyer’s expense.
Brokerage Fee & Sales Tax on Plant Material
The brokerage fee for all sales transactions shall be
15% to 20% of the listed price. The brokerage fee shall be paid by the selling
party and shall be deducted from the sales proceeds. All non-resale buyers shall
be subject to applicable sales taxes on all plant material as required by law.

Every effort shall be made to deal exclusively with the legitimate owners or their agents of all plant material listed for sale. However, since it can be difficult to verify ownership, any claims that P&CE may have stolen property listed must be made in writing to Palm and Cycad Exchange, 833A S. Main Ave. #182 Fallbrook, CA 92028, as well as to the appropriate department of law enforcement. P&CE shall cooperate fully with any investigation that may arise. |
